Ramraj Pai is the Chief Executive Officer at the India Impact Investor’s Council (IIC). He has been a credit market specialist, with specialization in financial services and inclusion related issues. Before joining IIC, Ramraj served as the President at CRISIL limited and led them to set up an integrated business development function across businesses, focussed on relationship management/deepening product penetration in banks/financial institutions covering India and emerging markets. Ramraj worked with CRISIL for 24 years. He has a Btech degree in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappali and an MBA from S.P.Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai

Ranjna Khanna

Ranjna is leading Impact investors Council in the capacity of Director. Her desire to work for the Social sector and under-served was the underlying reason for her to join the organisation. She has been associated with IIC since May 2016 and managed the Research and Advocacy functions for the organization in the initial few months.
Ranjna, a management graduate from Management Development Institute (MDI), has 15 years of management experience out of which a major part is with corporate banking across client origination, corporate credit, risk underwriting and portfolio management. Before Joining IIC, She has worked with HSBC as Head of Risk Analysis Unit for North & East India, Vice President –Client Management, Vice President –Credit and Risk Management, North India. She has also worked earlier with Standard Chartered Bank on the Client Origination side for the Mid market segment. She started her career as a sector analyst with AXIS Bank and managed bank exposure to key sectors like hotels and sugar. Ranjna has a bachelor degree in Commerce from Punjab University.

Neha Bhatnagar

Neha is IIC’s second employee (after the CEO) and has been associated with the council since July 2015. During the 15 years of her work life- Neha has functioned across multiple industries: impact investing, technology, strategic partnerships, business development and academics. While exploring MNCs & startup platforms in both for-profit and not for profit sectors, she got the opportunity to work out of various global and domestic geographies. Post her engineering in Robotics/Multimedia/Software Development from Melbourne University, Australia and her specialisation in general management from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, she worked with brands like CitiBank (Australia), TCS, IMS, Oliver Wyman (Singapore) and Google. Despite her walk on the road less traveled, her growing years at Scindia School, Gwalior and time with family remain to be the most impact-ful.

Swasti Saraogi

Senior Manager

Swasti has a Masters’ degree in Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She worked with the Corporate Tax and Regulatory practice at Ernst & Young for over seven years and has also done short stints with Sequoia Capital, India and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Jordan.
Besides, Swasti leads Robin Hood Army (RHA), an international volunteer-based organization that works to get surplus food from restaurants across to the less fortunate through a zero-funds model. The RHA has a network of 40,000+ volunteers who are active in over 150 cities globally and has served over 28 million meals till date.

Shriya Nene

Research Associate

Shriya is currently working with IIC as a Research Associate. Shriya has recently finished her Master’s in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex, UK. She has worked on a women economic empowerment project with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a Project Coordinator in India. As a project coordinator with UNDP, she managed the multi stakeholder project and drove the program implementation. Prior to her stint with UNDP, Shriya finished her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the University of London International Programmes.

Aman Kalsi
Aman Kalsi
Associate

Aman has been a part of Impact Investors Council (IIC) since May 2019 as an Associate. Prior to that, he worked at Private Equity Pro Partners (PEPP) for over two years where he was responsible for editing research reports, managing logistics & operations. Apart from this he has also worked at All India Radio station(AIR) as a radio jockey & a community radio station teaching mathematics to the underprivileged. He is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate with First Class from Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU).
