Impact Investors Council Team
GIRISH AIVALLI is the Chief Executive Officer of Impact Investors Council (IIC), India’s preeminent industry body for impact investors. Girish brings with him a range of diversified experience having worked in Agri Supply Chain, Banking ( Agri-Advisory & Project Appraisal ) Start Up and Developmental roles with reputed Indian and multinational companies, in his close to three decades of work experience.
Girish has been in leadership roles having headed Cargill’s Indian Agri Supply Chain, ADM’s Indian Grains , been MD & CEO for Yes Bank Family Office Company and Chairman & CEO for a USAID Project, prior to joining IIC.
Girish was an active Member of the CII’s National Council on Agriculture, and member of sub-committees on Food Processing, Dairy, Cold Chain and Indo-Israeli Forum. He was also a Jury Member of CII’s NAVI ( a platform to accelerate agri-start-ups ) and Ag-Hackathon as well as of IIM-Ahmedabad’s Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship for Agribusiness.
Girish has authored six books – Yes Sir, Mehek, Courage to Continue, Char Chinar, The Spy Who Went Into The Cold and Our Man In Balochistan.
Girish also hosts a You Tube video series – Tata Katha – a series on the Tata Group, as a loving contribution to his admiration for the Tata Group. Tata Katha is a video series conceived by The Banyan Tree.
Girish has an MBA from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
Ranjna is leading Impact investors Council in the capacity of Sr. Director – Programs. Her desire to work for the Social sector and under-served was the underlying reason for her to join the organisation. She has been associated with IIC since May 2016 and has played a pivotal role in the formative years of the organisation.
Ranjna has over 22 years of management experience out of which a major part (close to 14 years) is with corporate banking across client origination, corporate credit, risk underwriting and portfolio management. Before Joining IIC, She has worked with banks like HSBC, Standard Chartered and Axis Bank. In the 8 years with IIC, she has helped evangelize a nascent stream of investing (Impact Investing) with different sets of stakeholders and helped develop a cogent and cohesive narrative for Impact Investing for the Country.
Ranjna has a bachelor degree in Commerce from Punjab University and is a management graduate from Management Development Institute (MDI).

Neha is IIC’s second employee and has been associated with the council since Jan 2015. During the 18 years of her work life- Neha has functioned across multiple industries: impact investing (10 years), technology, strategic partnerships, business development and academics. She has explored MNCs & startup platforms in both for-profit and not for profit sectors. Work life gave her the opportunity to work out of various global geographies- Singapore, Australia and Netherlands. Post her specialization in Robotics, Multimedia and Software Development from Melbourne, Australia and her term at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, she worked with brands like CitiBank (Australia), TCS, IMS, Oliver Wyman (Singapore) and Google. Despite her walk on the road less traveled, her growing years at Scindia School, Gwalior and time with family remain to be the most impact-ful.

Divya Jain brings over 11 years of diverse experience, starting her career in investment banking at SBI Capital Markets, where she specialized in debt markets spanning financial analysis, bond fundraising (both domestic and international), and the end-to-end execution of debt transactions, including stakeholder management.
Driven by a passion for social impact, Divya transitioned into the development sector, focusing on education and skill development programs. She worked as a Program Manager at Pratham Education Foundation and with an education-focused startup, gaining invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the sector. Motivated by her desire to leverage her skills to create opportunities for the underprivileged, Divya’s work aims to help others access the same pathways to success that shaped her own career.
Divya is passionate about impact investing, recognizing its potential to drive tangible outcomes in the social impact sector. She is eager to further her knowledge and play an active role in leveraging research to create meaningful change.

To set a strong foundation in Finance, he has enrolled for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and has completed all the three levels. While interning at a startup, he realized the importance of impact creation and impact at scale could be achieved only through capital being accessible where needed.

Esha works as the Assistant Manager for Partnerships at IIC. Mansi, Assistant Manager Programs, has interests spanning across the trifecta of bazaar (market), samaaj (society), and sarkar (government) in that order. She’s worked as intern across different startups like Khatabook, Abbott, and Coinswitch Kuber, which has made her adept at building a practical understanding around product-market fit, market research, competitor benchmark analysis, and creating user-centered solutions.
While in college, while researching her own endeavor around “exploring unconventional career paths,” she came across the venture capital industry, specifically impact investment. Since then, she has been working to strengthen her understanding of this intersection of capital, big data, and tech to create a net positive social return.
Mansi holds a Master’s in Maths and Computing from BIT Mesra and is a CFA Level III candidate.
