The India Room's 12th edition will take place in Berlin on October 9th, 2025, as a flagship initiative of the Impact Investors Council (IIC). This exclusive, closed-door event runs alongside the GIIN conference, bringing together leading global Limited Partners, family offices, and Indian impact investors at Hall-3, Hotel Estrel Berlin from 3:30-5:00 PM.
The session features welcome remarks by Nakul Zaveri (Leapfrog Investments), an India impact landscape presentation, and a fireside chat on "Mobilizing Global Capital to India's Populous Impact Market" with panelists including Eric Savage (Unitus Capital) and Rajat Bansal (Lok Capital). The event serves as a platform for cross-border collaboration and meaningful conversations on investment opportunities in India's impact investing landscape.

Launched in 2023 by IIC, IGIF was created with an intent to expand the green finance conversation beyond traditional sectors and provide a platform that unites key stakeholders across the climate ecosystem. The inaugural edition drew over 530 delegates from 15+ countries, offering action-oriented insights to mobilise capital into the next wave of climate innovation, scale, and impact.

We are pleased to share that Anjana Seshadri has been elected as the Chairperson of the IIC's Executive Council for the period 2025–2027.
Anjana is an ESG and development impact specialist with 18 years of experience, including the last decade in banking and private equity. At Neev Fund, SBI Ventures Limited, she leads the ESG due diligence, portfolio impact strategy, technical assistance, and results monitoring. She previously led sustainability and climate change initiatives at IndusInd Bank. Anjana holds advanced degrees in Environment Planning, and Environmental Law, and was recognized among India’s Top Under 40 AIF professionals in 2021.

Bhavye Anand has experience across venture capital, policy advocacy, and ecosystem building. He has worked with IVCA on industry representations, capital mobilization strategies, and emerging sector research, and with Clim Ventures on investment theses, founder engagement, and deal support. Bhavye was also the youngest fellow selected for the 100X.VC Fellowship, gaining mentorship from leading investors.
He is passionate about shaping capital flows towards innovation and impact-driven sectors in India.
