The Oikocredit Model: Building Equitable Futures through Impact Finance

Global headwinds such as climate change disproportionately affect low-income communities. This reality, in line with both market opportunities and our investors’ increasing awareness, drove the 2025 expansion from a renewable energy focus to a much larger, climate-related focus. A key enabler of this transition is our unique cooperative structure. Our retail investors, especially in Europe, are very aware of the climate issue and are demanding more climate-positive investments.

From Swap to Scale: How Swapp Design is Powering India’s EV Infrastructure

Circularity is embedded in our design decisions. Every Swappable Battery and SwappBot incorporates principles such as Design for Disassembly (DFD) and Design for Serviceability (DFS), enabling components to be repaired, reused, or repurposed rather than discarded.

We operate on the principle that recycling is necessary but insufficient — sending a product to recycling when parts of it still have life is wasted value. "

Powering Progress: IX Energy and the New Frontier of Battery Innovation

We approach battery sustainability through three pillars: localization, longevity, and loop closure. Our battery packs use LFP chemistry for safer, longer cycles and reduced dependency on critical minerals. Sourcing is aligned with domestic suppliers to reduce logistics emissions. Each pack is designed for second-life applications in stationary storage, and we partner with recyclers for material recovery. Our design undergoes a full life-cycle assessment (LCA) to ensure every stage—from cell to scrap—contributes to carbon reduction.
