🍀IIC Member Exclusive Session - Budget 2026: Economic Outlook & Fund Implications

On 5th February 2026, IIC hosted a member-exclusive session on the Union Budget 2026, covering implications for AIFs and the economic outlook for the coming fiscal year. The session opened with remarks from Mr. Nishith Desai, Founder, Nishith Desai Associates, who highlighted the Budget’s shift toward market-enabling systems, infrastructure, and long-term capital formation.

This was followed by highlights from Ms. Yuvika Singhal (QuantEco) and Ms. Parul Jain (Nishith Desai Associates), with the discussion covering the macro outlook, continued capex focus, and stable growth expectations, along with key tax and regulatory changes affecting AIFs, including revised buyback taxation and assessment procedures.

Climate Capital in Action | Delhi Climate Week 2026

On the sidelines of Delhi Climate Week 2026, the Impact Investors Council (IIC), in partnership with KPMG India, is convening Climate Capital in Action: Aligning Policy, Infrastructure, and Finance to Scale EVs in India on 25 February 2026 at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi (10:30 AM onwards).

As India accelerates its shift toward zero-emission mobility, scaling EV adoption will require deeper alignment between policy ambition, infrastructure readiness, and access to climate and private capital. The session will bring together policymakers, investors, financial institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders to explore financing pathways across priority EV segments including public transport, freight, charging infrastructure, and manufacturing.
